To get to the Pinnacle Rock Recreation Area: When driving from Denver, travel I-25 south to Colorado Springs. Take the exit for U.S. Highway 115 south. Travel south on U.S. Highway 115 to Caņon City, where you will follow the signs for U.S. Highway 50 west. Travel U.S. Highway 50 west for 21 miles to the Pinnacle Rock River Access, located on the north side of the road. Allow 3 hours to drive from Denver and 2 hours from Colorado Springs. Please call our office at (719) 395-8594 if you have delays or other problems. You will need a few dollars, as the Arkansas Headwater Recreation Area charges (approximately $2.00) for parking.
